You forgot to mention CapCut.
I would like to live in the United States and work in video editing for a company. Do companies in the United States require diplomas or can they hire me without a diploma With my knowledge of Final Cut Pro software?
Thanks 👍
Thank you!
I have the experience, where do i find a job 😭
still worth it AI does the job now, could you make a new video to this please?
Im actually doing a major career change, made a list of things i thought of doing. I found your video and it was extremely helpful. Thank you!
hey can anyone tell me that which app should i use to do editing for free
I wanna thank you for aiding me in establishing a foundation and get a better idea on what to do. I've watched others and while they were knowledgeable, a lot of what they say summarize to "just do it! Get out there and be confident!" rather than actual goals to pursue. I'm currently going to school for video editing with my G.I. Bill, but I've been so stressed due thinking I should change my mind and do something traditional to put food on the table. School is good and definitely teaches me a lot, but it doesn't (or hasn't yet) taught how to hit the ground running. I've honestly tried to start up my channel 5 times to have SOMETHING but delete the videos because I hate and see how amateur they are, but I see that's not the move. Looking at your videos you've got a lot of good advice I'll be studying. And gonna say fuck it and start editing my own videos first and just let my experience grow. My biggest worry is trying to find clients, but I realize I need to make my goals more focused for the time being. Thanks again!
Im thinking of taking a career direction change and ive always loved video editing.
can video editing be a remote job, or does it have to be in-person?
Thank you, great info 🫶🏻
"Hi, I am a video editor specializing in Filmora and Adobe Premiere Pro. I am looking for USA-based clients so that I can work remotely from my room. If you have any clients or know an easy way to find them, please let me know. Thanks! I will wait for your response."
But where do I find video to start learning with?
Is there any free software to edit your videos on 🥺
The part i struggle to find if your thinking about freelance editing as a career is, how do you guys share media? Like if I am editing my own footage, i have it stored on something physical like an sd card to tranfer it to my pc. How do people go about efficiently sharing files (not in person or physically) from someone you never met AND also have original video qaulity? Is somthing like dropbox the standard? Would really love to hear the process on that please or if someone can fill a guy in lol.
Is capcut good?
I love video editing on my phone, I post edits on social media and it’s really my passion. However I use a phone so I’m limited to baby editing apps like CapCut.. it just really saddens me. I have no idea how to use professional apps like adobe and I can’t even learn because I can’t afford a pc or laptop for it.. I just don’t know what to do anymore
If you're considering a career change to something creative like video editing, having a well-structured resume is key. Resubot can help make that process easier.
The examples you provided really made the editing process seem accessible. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
For anyone looking to break into video editing, I've heard a lot about ResuBot for crafting resumes. It seems like it could save a lot of time.
Great tips! I love how you break down the steps for beginners. It's motivating to see a clear path.
This video is super helpful for anyone starting out in video editing. I wish I had this advice when I first began my journey.
Useless. Obvious stuff already seen a million times.
I used to make edits in capcut for fun but editing as a career seems fun and I wanna learn more. There's this film club at my university and I wanna join it to learn and gain experience. I am excited to join this community!
What school in the Uk can I study videographer not film making

Using A.I. has been fun.
Hi Colleen, I’m a beginner in Adobe Premiere Pro, and I’m looking for opportunities to assist a professional editor and learn more about the craft. I’ve previously worked with TV channels, so I have experience with broadcast content, editing workflows, and deadlines. I’m eager to improve my editing skills and would love to connect with anyone who needs help or has advice for a beginner looking to grow. Thanks in advance!T
When you realise making a yt channel your the creator the manager the producer and the editor 😂😂 and not to mention my voice sounds horrible lol good video btw

4:30 no I do not consider myself very creative. One reason why I never pursued video editing. But now I’m thinking of trying it. Recommendations if I should?

Is Capcut good?
Do companies give you enough time to do it properly though, or are you always rushing and doing overtime? Does it take over your personal time, so you're always dreaming about video editing, clients, coworkers, bosses, etc.?
I'm sure most jobs are boring subject matter, and probably not editing feature films.
