Sale = Care
I'm a warehouse manager. My boss asked me to start working sales in my spare time at work. I've watched all sorts of sales training and tried using all the different angles and methods. I've tried hundreds of the scripts out there. Every. Single. Time, the contact sniffs it out and goes full on gatekeeper. So now I make the calls but don't really care if it lands or not. I love the absolute and universal irony of how this sales psychology stuff works on me as a consumer, but not for me as a sales person. Most contacts on the other end who don't have the time for a short phone call pitch don't have time for these long winded approaches either.
I also love how every company has sales people making cold calls, but no one wants to be cold called themselves, as if they don't make their money the exact same way.
As for #8:If I said what I felt, my boss would get sued or lose all business and close shop.
It just seems like sales people shifted to selling sales ideas… which never really produce the results they claim on the front end… this is what thomas Sowell meant when he said people who's end products are nothing more than ideas. There is 1 thing I do agree with here: #4: it's not about me, it's them.
F people, man.
I enjoyed this video very much, really useful and it resonated with me.🤩
Thank you for sharing and advices 👌
Yes
This video will forever be relevant 🤝♥️
Thank you for the example of doctors.
Nice one, I enjoyed the course. Nice presentation
Hindi language chahiye
U know how to empress the consumer
I think manuplate the consumer
Great video! So many great tips
There is no better psychology than listening your client and making them feal your all eares.
Este es el mejor video de ventas que vi en años. Espectacular ❤ saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷
🧠 This is easily one of the most practical and eye-opening breakdowns of sales psychology I’ve seen! The shift from pitching to truly understanding the buyer's world is a game-changer. Steps like ‘drop the enthusiasm’ and ‘budget comes later’ really challenge conventional thinking — but make total sense when you apply them. Thank you for giving us a smarter, more human approach to selling that *actually works.*🔥👏
guys, that bit about getting deeper into challenges got me thinking about my own journey to consulting. i used to try and tackle case interviews blindly, until i stumbled upon The Thinksters. they kinda rescued me by breaking down these problems into intuitive frameworks. now im off to Bain, can you believe it? back then, they even had free sessions, but im not up-to-date. feeling grateful!
Huh I wonder if you forgot your own first rule? Seems script and fake
The no enthusiasm part I took the most out of. I'm beginning a job in sales and I believed I had to be high enthusiasm from the get go and that's just not who I am. It makes a lot more sense to just be genuine first off. The no pressure part I relate to the most because I am always the one to leave or push back when I feel pressured. Very informative video.
Thanks bro it makes a lot of sense , I feel like I am not cut out for this but these lessons help a lot
No is definitely not a bad thing. How can I tell that to my boss who sees no as no reason to pay me bc I haven't close a potentially big deal? 😂😊 I'm perfectly fine with prospects saying no, but this results in no money earned for me… 😢😢😢
This kept my attention. Nice job
As a recently retired Aerospace Engineer who has two upcoming interviews for Automotive and Motorcycle Sales I really appreciate your 13 steps…lots of good nuggets of wisdom in there.
I liked the aspect of thinking like doctor
And not disclosing the price at the beginning of a conversation
And the feedback loop
Also the one of telling them or saying what you feel
Conclude: Don’t be Saul Goodman
Value is generated sales
Allopathic vs alternative medicen…. Act like a holistic practitioner, not a doctor
Love the content none the less : )
I agree with this video 100%. I was doing door too door sales, and the person that was training me was not hearing any of the people who clearly did not want what was being offered! I ended up leaving because it was very uncomfortable seeing people get upset because she did not know how to take no as an answer. I am not an aggressive person, and I do not feel like you have to be an aggressive person to make a sale or get someone to sign up for a service or whatever. I believe making the environment comfortable for the person by creating a safe space is the best way to start, and if they say no, let that be that. I do not like feeling pressured, so I can relate.
Say what you feel Thank you for that
guess i will learn alot here
number 4 : its about them , not you.
I have been in sales for many years, so I can give you feedback on this content: These tips are very useful, and if you are looking for ways to improve your results, just try to use them and see for yourself!
Great video. My opinion.. If you're naturally smooth with the ladies, you'll do well in sales.
