  1. Regardless of what i post i get like zero impressions, i got like 200k views on a vid a few years ago and now since then my content doesn’t get views even if its a broad topic

  2. Thank you very much for the tips. Cool! I heard that for a brand new channel with zero views/subscribers/videos,we need to spend some time commenting/liking/viewing other channel's videos first before we post our first video. Is this a good recommendation? Thank you very much.

  3. Its not really like this. Sometimes I have low CTR but my impression is high.. Sometimes my CTR is high but recommendations are low.. And sometime my AWT is high but impression is low.. so I dont know how this rely works

  4. Impressions seems like a total roll of the dice. I have a video right now that is 4 hours old, with only 72 impressions, despite a 20% CTR and 8 comments of the 31 views it has. How can anyone argue that the algorithm is standardized when between the CTR and the comments the video is clearly very popular with viewers, but YouTube simply won't give me any impressions. And I know this is randomized cause I'll set another video live, with lower audience engagement and less than half of that CTR and it will get 10k impressions in the first 24 hours. Totally arbitrary.

  5. hi hi! may i know why do we get high impressions on certain keywords but when i cross reference on google keyword planner it has low to no search volume? this is more about SEO

  6. My previous video's had an average of 3% click through rate, and seems to be shown in the right categories, but the latest video with similar styled thumbnail is at or below 1%, but shown to a much wider audience, and to a bunch of video's that don't seem to make as much sense, much higher impressions, much lower CTR. I wish I could control where the impressions are going because when it's shown on some titles I'm getting much much higher CTR but it seems YT are spreading out this last video super thin, views are up on previous video but not by much and would have been 3x the amount. Wish I could control where the content is shown.

  7. This video keeps it real. The macro factor of audience appeal is one that's a hard limitation. Understanding the viewer as a person is key. I just published my 7th video and my audience is people who want the Bible explained thoughtfully, fairly and objectively without a political party platform agenda or denominational bias.

  8. Hi,
I'm making streams about F1 during the Grands Prix, I was making around 20-30k views during races, but it suddenly dropped down to around 1-2k views…
My CTR is the same as usual (even a bit higher), my average view duration is higher than usual, but my impressions are extremely lower than usual…
Some guys who are making similar content doesn't seem to have a drop of views, so I really don't know why it dropped like this…

If you have any explanation or solution, it would be nice!
    Thanks 😉

  9. I get 10% – 14% click through rates.
    Thanks for the tips.
I think I need to get someone to make thumbnails for me though because I don’t make good ones.

  10. What about if you are getting zero impressions, on my other channel my last 2 videos in the past 24-36 hours since upload have not received a single impression. The channel as a whole has 6 videos in total and only 10 impressions but maybe because it is a new channel. But still what do you do if you are not even getting 1 impression?

  11. So I’m gonna go ahead and call BS and challenge you on that first explanation on why someone is getting low impressions because of a “not so good thumbnail or title”—bc impressions doesn’t define any of that and Vice versa. That all is dependent on how YouTube pushes out your video in that particular niche. Low impressions means nobody is seeing the video because YouTube didn’t push it out. It has nothing to do with thumbnails. That logic you explained would only make sense if the impressions were high but the clicks were extremely low. THEN you can say the thumbnail or title is crap. We are subject to YouTube’s very bias and selective algorithm for videos. Most people today ride the popular niche bandwagon and pay for advertising. Otherwise the organic stuff on certain genres/categories/niches will take forever.
