  1. Im a video editor for 10 years, and Im unemployed now, losing my hope to find job again, with depression and sad all day thinking im a loser now. I tried to find jobs, and they ask to have davince resolve skills , and Im from Premiere (No davince skills), and now I m learning Davince resolve to be able to have a job again. But is hard, because I dont have time to study davince resolve at 100% in a few months. I need to have a job fast and no company are accepting me because I dont know Davince resolve (I know sometings now, Im praticing with youtube tutorials, I dont have money to pay a online course). I get some money help but is very low money, I need to paid house rent and bills and the money left is so little that I need to eat nothing or just bread all day . The worst cenerio is losing my house, I will be soon living on the streets I guess im a bad video editor, no one likes my work anymore. Im losing my hope and my life( Do you know how much money I have right now? 1.35€ 1.46 USD. yeah thats my life right now, ) I lost my value, and my career is kinda ruined i guess. hope you guys have better luck, a good jobs and money, be happy with your work and achivments. hug for all

  2. I've worked as a video editor for about a year now and what I've learned is you have to price clients low at the beginning to just get your name out there and gain experience and skills. Once you've understood that you've mastered every aspect of video editing and you're sure you can complete any task with ease, then you start bumping up the price.

  3. i get the 1 vid a day hustle but what's the duration. what type of video. shorts with a shit tone of animation masking 3d cams sound design and colour grading, then its gonna take a lot of time and doing that every day will just reduce ur product quality and if its a long video assay with all of the above we need half a month. 1) i m beginner 2) my pc cant render that fast. 40 vids a month is worse than a cubical and quantity over quality

  4. i started making videos well just one video it's on my page i think it looks good but still i guess i need more time and more practice before i get clients or should i start from now and charge less?
