  1. I really don’t like Adobe… would your Premiere course be applicable to DaVinci Resolve? Do you teach editing fundamentals that can transfer to other programs, or is it only how to use the Premiere program?

  2. funnily enough, started editing some months ago (edited when I was a kid, but now came back to it), and emailed the youtuber which I watch the most, because he was looking for editors, decided to give it a try, emailed him, and now working for him, kinda crazy

  3. Been editing on capcut for 4 years but I'm changing, because they make everything paid version. Like now you have to pay to not get the watermark. Recently started learning DaVinci.

  4. Hey Fin, you've really inspired me to do youtube with all your vids. Your tutorials are the best by far. I was wondering if u would ever do another thumbnail tutorial. Keep up the great work!!!

  5. After watching your videos as a new Davinci Resolve user, I was able to learn a lot about the editing process. Even though premiere is a different software I was still able to convert it all in Davinci. By watching your videos today my editing skills are far better then before, thanks!

  6. hello bro, im from indonesia. i beg u, please.. make a tutorial how to make your video like floating in adobe premiere pro maybe 🙏🤝

  7. Dude, i just got banned from your server without any reason.
    Why bro.
Let me in again. And I'm a good video editor so can you please give me access to send messages in the "job-self-promo" tab
    My username is – stupid_uchiha
    Please dude give me access

  8. I've been editing for 9 years now, full time self employed for about 6! I was very fortunate that i gained 3 new clients from 1 Youtuber. However i wanted to get into gaming edits. I saw a fairly big Channel looking for a editor for his new gaming channel and so i DM'd him…and got the job. It's easy to look at a job post from a successful Youtuber and get imposter syndrome and don't feel worthy enough to apply but believe me that it's always worth applying.

ALSO i found that one of the most important qualities than clients look for is communication and completing before deadlines. I'm not a great editor, but i'm making a good wage because i make my clients lives a lot easier and more efficient through good communication and a fast turnaround on vids.

ALSO#2 – DO NOT overwork/ overedit on your first video for a client if they are going to be sending videos daily or weekly. If you burn yourself out by going all in on the first video, then they are going to expect that level every single video afterwards. Be realistic and be honest with them. A good balance between quality and quantity is essential. If you try too hard from the get go then you'll only burn yourself out and will start missing deadlines and eventually might even lose a good client.

ALSO#3 – …Finzar's preset packs seriously save a LOT of time lol, buy them!

  9. Hello there just a message of appreciation, I am glad i came across your channel, I had honestly left editing after just trying it for few years, but then long story short, i was hospitalised for 4 months and was gonna have a body part amputated but i pulled through i started watching your videos in my hospital bed, which made me gain my editing spark again, i am really grateful for your content finzar, also i want to be a patreon for you but my country does not allow me to have like recurring payments so i cant, is there any other way i can support you?. ofc in a small way cause i am still a beginner, but then again glad for all you have done, thank you.

  10. finzarr Hitflim Software Is shut Down Can you plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz give some totorials like premier pro software smooth editing , effects etc 🥹🥹🥹

  11. Great video! I really appreciate all the tips. 😄
I agree with having a good intro reel or just putting out an edit something in general. I started out as a streamer who edited my own shorts to post on my other socials so I can grow my audience. Now I edit for other streamers because they liked my editing style. It feels good to know there's a market out there for people who edit like me.
