  1. I agree it is a lot of work, and also – yes it takes 20 years to become a neurosurgeon, well you could also argue a lot of the work you put in to leverage off for your online courses was your years studying towards your medical degree plus the years in the workforce working as a doctor. That all counts too because your courses were for med students.

  2. I enjoyed the video, but when we talk about giving lifetime access to the student, it's hard to manage in platform cost, as we need to pay for lifetime every month.. I have built my website with WordPress 🎉

  3. How people get others to buy simple online courses for thousands of pounds is beyond me. I get buying courses for a hundred quid or so – maybe two or three hundred. But more than that for an online course is ridiculous. "A fool and his money" springs to mind.

  4. Hello Ali! Could you tell us which is the new platform that you're using now? I understand that you migrated from Kajabi to a new one, please if you could let us know that will be very helpful. Thanks!

  5. Darn. I was excited until about 50 minutes in when you said the only real way to get courses to sell is by offering free content on YouTube. The problem with that it could take forever, if ever, to get views and followers on YouTube too. It’s also not great for those of us that prefer to stay anonymous so our colleagues are privy to our side hustle. Feeling deflated.

  6. Thanks Ali, you were a great inspiration when I first started my Youtube Channel. Our sales have dropped and watched this entire video the whole way through making notes. I've made over 800 videos myself, and given away alot of free and valuable content. We are struggling for sales at the moment so came to learn. Made plenty of notes and will go away and work hard on making our course better and more targeted. What I find amazing is that could all be done in a single morning. Imagine trying to do this 10,20 or 30+ years ago.

  7. I'm a qualified primary school teacher, but, I've had to leave due to health issues…I also do tutoring. I'm now making a course on teachable & making ebooks…I'm also a qualified yoga/meditation teacher…something I can manage…but, its taking forever to make, its learning all this stuff you've talked sbout…Thank you for this video 🙏

  8. You know these amateur stuff you really don't get to learn anything here about how to set up a real online training course. I wish these YouTubers would stop showing their faces and actually show you some kind of professionalism in the courses. 😂😂😂
