  1. Choose something you have control over. In case you want to move your members away you can. I would go with a self hosted website with a course platform integration.

Plenty of communities websites you can use. Don’t put all your trust and money making source under one platform’s control

  2. OK thanks for this GOLD. Now deciding between HighLevel, CourseCreator 360 and Streamlyne which I saw the promo for after I saw this video. For those in pre revenue phase who hopped mulitple platforms and have low trust, this recommendation is great. Which one would you choose between the 3 listed here to house: ecourses (live coached weekly, annual membership need a dynamic group UX) and event listings both in person and online, and ideally the allin one marketing who wants to use waitlisting as a core function to show oversold offers to gather a list for offering future sold out offers. There is also a high need for a webinar as part fo a simple funnel.

  3. In my experience, Kajabi feels overpriced, and I’ve noticed some questionable practices in their subscription management that seem like dark patterns. What’s frustrating is that most of the glowing reviews come from affiliates earning commissions, which makes it hard to find unbiased opinions. If you’re considering it, I’d recommend doing thorough research first.

  4. Hey I wanted to create a class geared for universities. Colleges want to pay annually and by check. So I wanted to have a flat rate but one school may have 5 student users and another 20 users. Do any of these allow me to take checks offline(or can make an invoice and take a check) and add unlimited users.

  5. I've been an avid GHL user and am leaving it. The course workflow and user interface is confusing and clunky for the end-user. If you are going to use SMS extensively it's really the only game in town but otherwise all their other features are kind of half-baked. I had to stop using their calendar because it broke constantly, their website builder leaves a ton to be desired, their communities are basically a joke. I have found that it's best to use the best tool in its class that fits your model and eat the fee. For landing pages and funnels nothing beats clickfunnels, for communities nothing beats skool, for courses teachable has everyone beat on user interface and app integration. I think if you're serious about selling online you kind of have to choose if you're community based or course based and pick a lane. I'll probably be moving to clickfunnels for landing pages, automation and courses (they have upsells within courses and other features nobody else really has). I'll sacrifice a tiny bit on user interface compared to teachable but unless you're an avid user of teachable already it's negligible.

  6. The truth is, you have no reason to not use Facebook groups until your business is large enough that you can hire a team and you need me integrations and at that point you can just develop your own website and host it there. For much less than all of these

  7. Why would someone spend money going on those sites, when 90% Dont even know if anything exists outside YouTube or google when they look for a course πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…?????

  8. Great video, What about Mighty Networks? I am currently using them but there are some aspects that are almost great but fall short. That said atm I find it the best for my community, but I am searching for anything that might be better. Thanks

  9. So "unskinned" high-level is still the best all rounder really right? I was hoping White labling and the forum features amongst others would be available in Course Creator (as it's essentially just another reskin/rework/faceplate for GHL) but now I assume not only are those very very beneficial features omitted many others probably are too…

  10. Hi, 2 Kajabi customers here. We've been struggling for months trying to get the most basic stuff going on Kajabi: marketing mail. After hours and hours with support agents and one 15 min 1 on 1 with screensharing with a specialist (which helped a lot) the email still doesn't work. We (my wife and I) are going to use Kajabi for 10-20 years (if it works). You guys are looking at 20k to 200k of turnover from us, if you can fix this ultra basic problem. If not we're going to give up and move to thinkific. We've been banging our heads for months now and we have a business to run. We both love Kajabi, but if the basic stuff does not work, we cannot do bussines. So Please, bring us into contact with one of your specialists for a one on one untill both our problems are solved and you're guaranteed to have happy customers for at least 10 years….. I hope this reaches someone. I'm also trying to connect to Ahan Khan via LinkedIn, I understand he is the CEO. Just desperate and trying every route we can find. But, we're close to giving up on kajabi.
